Helping you find light in the places that feel darkest.
If you or your child are struggling with anxiety, attention difficulties, emotional outbursts, or behavioral challenges, it can feel exhausting and overwhelming. Many parents feel unsure how to help when their child is having difficulty at school, experiencing big emotions, or struggling to stay focused. Adults may feel stuck in patterns of worry, stress, or low mood that are difficult to manage alone.
Counseling can provide a supportive place to better understand these challenges and develop practical tools for moving forward.

About
Hi, I'm Lana.
Licensed Professional Counselor | Reflection and Restoration Counseling
I know that asking for help isn't always easy. Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you aren't quite sure what to do differently. You may be feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, anxious, discouraged, or simply tired of trying to figure everything out on your own.
I want you to know that you don't have to have everything figured out before you come to counseling.
My name is Lana Dillon, LPC, LPE-I, and I am a licensed professional counselor in Arkansas. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with things such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and difficult life transitions.
My approach to counseling is compassionate, practical, and person-centered. I believe it is important to really listen to you and understand what you're experiencing, but I also believe counseling should give you something you can actually use in your everyday life. We will work together to understand what is getting in your way, recognize the strengths you already have, and develop skills that can help you manage life's challenges.
I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral strategies, and person-centered counseling, depending on what you need. There isn't one approach that works perfectly for everyone, so I believe your counseling should be tailored to you.
Working With Children and Adolescents
Working with children and teenagers is an important part of what I do. Sometimes a child's behavior is communicating something they don't yet have the words or skills to explain. Instead of simply focusing on changing the behavior, I want to understand what is underneath it.
I work with children and adolescents who may be struggling with emotions, behavior, attention, anxiety, confidence, family changes, or other challenges. My goal is to help them develop skills while also helping parents better understand what their child may be experiencing and how they can support them.
What I Want You to Know
I don't believe counseling is about telling you what is wrong with you.
Sometimes you know exactly what you need to do, but getting yourself to do it is another story. Sometimes you understand that your reactions are causing problems, but you don't know how to respond differently. And sometimes life changes in ways you didn't expect, leaving you trying to figure out what comes next.
That doesn't mean you are incapable of change.
It may mean there is something getting in your way that you need to understand and learn how to manage.
I want to help you do that.
My goal is not for you to depend on counseling forever. I want you to leave counseling with a better understanding of yourself, practical skills you can use, greater confidence in your ability to handle difficult situations, and a clearer sense of where you want to go from here.
You may not be able to change everything overnight—and you don't have to.
We can start with where you are and work from there.
A Little About Me
Outside of my work as a counselor, I am a real person who understands that life can be complicated. I value relationships, family, humor, and the simple things that make life meaningful. I don't expect you to walk into my office with everything figured out, and I certainly don't expect perfection.
I want my office to be a place where you can be honest about what is going on without feeling judged.
If you're ready to take that first step, I would love to help you work through this and learn some strategies that can help you move forward.
I'm glad you're here.
